Cool.  Did you make that prediction that next gen consoles will sell under 175m?

i didn't make a thread or anything but shortly after E3 when the wiiU was detailed i lost all confidence in next generation sales. i forget exactly how i came to that number but it was something like a 30% contraction in the total market... basically a return to the ps2/gc/xbox sales level.   roughly, i think each manufacturer will get around 50 to 60M.

best part is ... it will be so long before i can be proven wrong i'll likely never eat crow.  xD

As many people have said and shown, that is the not the case. The premium bundle is very hard to find, but the basic bundle is easy to find (this is true pretty much worldwide).

Check the launch numbers for every other console in the UK and you will see, brits are pretty much a whole country full of Pachters. They are constantly missing the beat.

People have shown that all 40,000 units did not sell? Your comment has nothing to do with acd's.  The Wii U is selling. Black's sell immediately, Whites sell a little slower but still sell. Just because something is available without camping out before a store opens doesn't mean that the product isn't selling. My personal observation has been to pop into a WalMart and see no Wii U's one day, a few days later 2 or 3 on the shelf, a few days later none. But regardless, Wii U's initial batch sold through in the UK.
