Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Just Add Water CEO: No Stranger’s Wrath HD for 360 “is bemusing”

Im a bit surprised that JAW dont have hard feelings towards MS. Since they have applied multiple times, they must have already spent some hours and money on the application process but surprisingly they dont seem angry at MS.....or at least they arent showing it in public.

One of those games I've never played, so don't miss either, could be a great little game for all I know though.

What has that got to do with this discussion? Excelent input.

OT: I have heard this a few times about Microsoft, they seem to be alot more strict when it comes to their online system.

What does your disability to understand my statement add to the discussion? Excellent spamming.

So you understand, it means the game didn't sell like cupcakes the first time around, so hardly anyone will really notice this not coming to the 360 and therefore probably the reason Microsoft wasn't bothered.

Oh I understand it alright, it just had no context whatsoever with the article that was being discussed. The fact you never played it or want to play has nothing to do with Just add water feeling "bemused" about their game not coming to the 360.

The minimum price thing does suck if true, developers should be allowed to set their own price, I can only imagine Microsoft use it to try and stop prices being driven down through competition which is pretty crap for the consumer.

I agree with strict controls to ensure quality but artificially raising the price or having moving goal posts for developers isn't acceptable behaviour imo.

Yeah so true but Microsoft are a business at the end of the day so they are looking out for themselves first and foremost. Perhaps they might change their policy for next gen.

They should just charge the xbox owners $20 and be done with it. It is MS's fault after all.

Unless they have had more problems.

Yeah this.

Have them charge w/e price. You know that thing is going to go on sale once no one buys it, then they can sell the game for $10ish.

It's just that simple.

I'm willing to bet that another rule is that a game can't launch cheaper on PSN than XLA.  Also, there probably would have been backlash against the developer for the difference.

Microsoft is really going to have to think about addressing their online structure for next gen.  There have been a lot of complaints from developers and a lot of these situations have a negative effect on the consumer, as with the Fez problem.  I mean, seriously, thousands of dollars for a small emergency patch?  Taking months to approve patches that are needed immediately?  Some of this stuff just isn't right.
