I think you nailed it with Daniel Day Lewis.
Currently wrecking my brain to come up with a 'better' actor. I do have some personal favorites but that doesn't make them 'best' actors.
Actresses... that's harder than i thought. I loved Scarlet in Lost in Translation, but then i would vote personal preference above quality i think. I'll get back on this one.
