After years and years of being the underdog, 360 is finally making a comeback. Adjusting for inaccuracy, it's likely that 360 was ahead of Wii this reported week (last week in real life). Will it continue next week and will the 720 keep up the momentum against the Wii U?

It did actually, because the numbers are the same (from MC)

lame thread is lame, wii is still ahead by a good 13 units it will take years for the axebox to close that gap

Yay, X360 sold measely 3000 units in Japan around launch of Halo 4 and beat Wii which doesn't have any software releasing by more than 10 units.

The game called Taiko Drum Master, potential 200K seller this xmas in Japan. A lot of Wii software usualy doing good during holidays in Japan.

btw, Wii selling in Japan without price-cut for YEARS. Of coz, with Wii U coming out sales of console are cooled down now to such a funny levels.

According to media create the gap is now under 11 million units (10,987,437). This is a huge blow to the once dominate Wii. If we adjust for 10% margin of error we find that the Xbox 360 outsold the Wii by 277 units. This means that the 360 will outsell the Wii in 39,666 weeks (only 763 years). We can probably cut this drastically because in a couple of weeks the Wii won't sell anything once the Wii U is released. Hopefully, this paints a better picture of the situation. Now lets prepare for incoming damage control.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Very impressive for microsoft considering the 360 launched a year before the Wii.. it is out legging the wii by a great amount..

Nintendo should totally go third party, it's over. Japan is lost to Microsoft and if they can't win at home, they can't win anywhere.
