Looks tons better then the original released in March. Wait for Sigma 3 next year.

I really don't see a Sigma 3 coming though, they usually only do like 2 versions, this is a second version

He meant Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus 3 for the PSVITA.

Actually i didn´t but it wouldn´t suprise me lol

Here´s a comparison with 360

How do u embed again?

From this comparison video I don't see how the Wii U Version looks worse in any way. Also, the Wii U version seems to have A LOT more content. I can't understand that all this just sums up to a 0.5 increase from...destructoid, I believe.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

There's another review of this game from Digital Trends. This one has the highest score yet: 8.0.

They gave the original a 5.0.

That should give the game's metascore a bit of a boost. Of course we'll find out how it fares with other reviewers later.

"It’s fantastic to see this kind of hardcore gamer’s game on a Nintendo console"

"It’s far from perfect and best viewed with “launch goggles” on"

A hardcore game on a Nintendo console! That must be a sight to behold for him

To them, hardcore games = gorey games/curse words

Well, I guess when you polish a turd for long enough it can look significantly more presentable. Still a bit on the stinky side, but something you might actually want to show to a couple of friends.

Have you ever actually wanted to show your friends one of your turds?

You haven't?  Your'e missing out on some quality bonding time, there.

"Wow, I had no idea that was possible... nice work!"

Such is the "Director's Cut" of Gaiden.

"This type of mature third party support at launch can only be seen as a good sign of things to come IMO. At least the dev tried to improve the game, which going by the score, seems to have been pretty significant."

says Ahmed1000 at IGN. I don't see this as a AAA title, but it's at least gratifying to know that Tecmo DID try to improve its game. Hopefully other WiiU ports will look prettier than NG3. Then again I don't remember it looking exactly spectacular on PS3 or XBox360 either.

The only problem for Ninja Gaiden is even if you're a Wii U early adopter that's hell bent on getting something "matoooor", it seems like Black Ops 2, possibly Zombi U, and even year old ports of things like Arkham City are far better games than Ninja Gaiden 3.

Maybe Tecmo should've ported Ninja Gaiden 2 instead with Ayane and other features as that seems to be a better game from its foundation.

Nice try Tecmo, but for $60, I'm forced to cancel my pre-order on this game to be honest. Will be getting something else, probably ZombiU.

Yeah, too bad about the visuals not being quite up to par with the other versions, but overall the game seems like a pretty substantial leap in quality. I still won't be buying, though. :(

The irony is the lighting was given an upgrade.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

I'm really excited for this game, I really see a good improvement so Im so getting it w my WiiU day one!
