Forums - Gaming Discussion - Bonus Round discussion on Nintendos 2012 and questioning their marketing strategy for the Wii U

http://www.gametrailers.com/full-episodes/csozbo/bonus-round-game-industry-2012--nintendo-s-performance

What do you think about Nintendos progress in marketing with their new console? I didnt put this in the Nintendo section because I wanted to keep this a round table discussion.

Marketing is very important. This is how you do it, Nintendo:

lol

Personally, no amount of marketing could ever make me drink red Mountain Dew. It's just wrong.

I don't like the dubstep music in the USA ads. Perhaps the teenagers might like that? Doesn't seem like many people do on this site.

Well, I live in Sweden and we usually don't have too many VG ads, but I haven't seen anything at all here about the Wii U!!

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Yes, the media has been pondering what to even make of the Wii U because its not like the Wii where it makes things simpler for casuals. Nintendo has all the Wii's sold out, but what will happen next year? How will the marketing need to pick up and change?

Dubstep is still in. I mean, it worked wonders for Mortal Kombats rebirth.
