I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Around the Network
  1. Super Mario Bros. 3
  2. Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link
  3. Mega Man 3
  4. Super Mario Bros. 2
  5. The Legend of Zelda

It's really tough picking just five NES games when there's a plethora of amazing games for the system.

I'm an advocate for motion controls, Nintendo, and Kicking freaking Toad to the Moon!

Hmmm...
Super Mario Bros. 3...
Kid Icarus...
Zelda 2 (even though I suck at it)...
Blades of Steel...
Marble Madness...
Or maybe California Games...

Have a nice day...

Tecmo Bowl, Double Dribble, Skate or Die, T&C Surf Designs, and RBI Baseball pretty much guaranteed that your friends were never going home back in those days. I had to pretend my Nes was broken sometimes just to get people to not visit--which was weird because later, it would be inexplicably fixed and then, broken again. I was a horrible liar.

Not gonna lie, the NES sucked.. When the SNES came out, now that was the game changer.

Then why post in this thread...?

To share my opinion on a topic obviously. Your opinion doesn't have to be pro whatever to post. Dinggleberry.

Not gonna lie, but I just laughed my ass off at this statement. The NES:

• Introduced the D-pad

• Ended the videogame crash and was by far the most successful console in history at that point.

• Was home to many pioneer and genre defining games.

• Introduced the third party business model.

• Not to mention the massive jump in quality of games: you go from Space Invaders and Pacman to Super Mario Bros 3, Castlevania 3, and Dragon Quest 4.

The NES marked the beginning of new videogame industry and the old videogame industry was swept away like ashes in the wind. As far as game changers go, nothing approaches the NES in this industry.

This thread is called "Top 5 NES Games". Think you're in the wrong place for these arguements. So I'll say it again. The NES was pretty garbage.

Moderated for this and other posts in this thread,

The Thread is called "Top 5 NES Games". Not, "I think the NES was garbage". So I'll say this, don't post in threads you are not supposed to.

You fans of Super Dodge Ball should give Super Spike V Ball a shot!

Of course, I've never played Super Dodge Ball. I'm just talking out of my ass. How different could they be, though? They both have "Super" and "Ball" in the title. Super Spike let you power up your returns so much that the ball seemed to explode on impact. Bodies were flying everywhere. It's probably not as awesome as I remember, though.

4)  Super Dodgeball

Glad to see another Super Dodge Ball fan! I never thought it would be such a great game, but I was glad to be wrong.

The only downside was that you couldn't play all the teams through story mode.  Honestly I could of put World Cup in this list too... The Kunio Tecnos games ruled.   Except Crash and the Boys...  couldn't figure out Crash and the Boys.

My frined used to BEG me to come over when one of his other friends would come over, just so i could help out vote him to actually do something atheletic once in a while.

Also, i really enjoyed me some Super Spike V-ball.. though it was no Super Dodgeball.  Don't think I ever did beat it.

Super Dodgeball was one of those "Expensive as hell" funco land games... basically imagine anime's version of dodgeball delievered via NES.

Basically dodgeball but each character had "super" throws, be it a line drive that barrel through multiple opponnets, a teleporting shot that disapears and reapears closer,   A ball thrown so hard it deforms and hits for mega damage,   A ball that flies past you and then aims right back at you from behind,   Curvey ball,  Ball that uppercuts you way high into the air... plus some others.

The best was scoring what i'd call an "Around the world" when you'd knock the guy back so hard they'd go flying past the end of their screen and reappear on your side of the screen!
