Tecmo Bowl, Double Dribble, Skate or Die, T&C Surf Designs, and RBI Baseball pretty much guaranteed that your friends were never going home back in those days. I had to pretend my Nes was broken sometimes just to get people to not visit--which was weird because later, it would be inexplicably fixed and then, broken again. I was a horrible liar.

My frined used to BEG me to come over when one of his other friends would come over, just so i could help out vote him to actually do something atheletic once in a while.

Also, i really enjoyed me some Super Spike V-ball.. though it was no Super Dodgeball.  Don't think I ever did beat it.

Super Dodgeball was one of those "Expensive as hell" funco land games... basically imagine anime's version of dodgeball delievered via NES.

Basically dodgeball but each character had "super" throws, be it a line drive that barrel through multiple opponnets, a teleporting shot that disapears and reapears closer,   A ball thrown so hard it deforms and hits for mega damage,   A ball that flies past you and then aims right back at you from behind,   Curvey ball,  Ball that uppercuts you way high into the air... plus some others.

The best was scoring what i'd call an "Around the world" when you'd knock the guy back so hard they'd go flying past the end of their screen and reappear on your side of the screen!
