1. Ninja Gaiden

2. Mike Tyson Punch Out.

3. River City Ransom (aka Street Gangs)

4. Zelda II

5. Astyanax

I thought I was the only one who remembered Asyanax exisited!  That game gave me some fond memories.  Probably one of the last Nes games I ever owned.

And my list:

1.  Super Mario Bros. 3

2.  Bionic Commando

3.  Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse

4.  Batman

5.  The Adventures of Lolo

funny reading everyone's list and going shit this was cool too haha.

just shows how many great games there were on NES.

Unless I am blind, I think no one has listed battletoads. Another classic for me. Stealth and Russian Attack weren't bad either

I thought about Battletoads but that game raped my childhood.  I won't give it the satisfaction of being on my list.

Some other classics that deserve to be on somebody's list:

  • Blaster Master:  Metroid-Vania done better than any 8-Bit Metroid or Castlevania
  • Kabuki Quantum FIghter
  • Shadow of the Ninja
  • Contra (and Super C)
  • Spy Hunter
  • Star Tropics
  • Shatterhand
  • Shadowgate
  • Maniac Mansion
  • Double Dragon II

Track and Field with the power pad

Loved R.C. Pro Am on GB and NES.

Marble Madness was bad ass and I believe was a heavy influence on Super Monkey Ball (only play 1-2 on GCN which were probably the best)

Track and Field with power pad I had a lot of great memories.  From heel stomping or using hands to jumping off the pad and then back on it to preform mega long jumps.  Yep, I cheated but at least it got me moving.

Anyone remember 3D WorldRunner? It was developed by Square and it was pretty bad ass back in the day. I never owned it but I remember playing it at a friends a lot.

I though me and my bother were the only ones who did these things, they made the game very interesting

1. Super Mario Bros. 3
2. Castlevania 2
3. Legend of Zelda
4. Super C
5. Kid Niki Radical Ninja

Sooo many other. I'm worried that I've had such a hard time just doing this, how the hell am I gonna answer the "Top 50 games" thread?
