He's also said, on many occassions, that he only knows Gamestop numbers which are about 80% (?) of pre-orders, he reckons. There's still other sources out there.

He can say with certainty if numbers are undertracked because if he has access to Gamestop figures and they're more than what we have here, then it's obvious. It's less certain for him to call something overtracked as he doesn't have access to everything.

The pre-orders shot up with the limited edition was available. So depending how many of those gets shipped I'd imagine will influence how well the game does in pre-orders.

It's ok, The New Super Mario Bros. series never end up with high pre-order numbers. Like a lot of Nintendo games, NSMB U will have a pretty good first week and then continue to slowly sell throughout the lifespan of the Wii-U.

-Wow Assassin's Creed PSV jumped up 8 spots!
There's a bundle for it too so this should give Vita a nice hardware boost. Persona has high pre-orders too....who knew a Japanese game would be so popular in America? Take notes Sony.

-Ascension went down 1 spot :( It should be in the top 10 by the end of this year though!

-I wonder if they are counting the Assassin's Creed 3 PS3 bundles here? What about Halo 4 bundles?
