Have you seen these Ghibli blu rays? They're so gorgeous but I can't justify spending so much on them..and I feel if I buy one I have to buy the whole set..

I'm also in the "zero and i don't know anyone who owns a standalone Blu Ray player" club. Some of my irl friends own PS3s, but i don't even think i've ever seen a standalone blu-ray player in someone's home.

Like 4. I prefer streaming services because they're more convenient and way cheaper. The quality isn't as amazing but it's still good.

About 5. Most of them are XMas gifts though because I personally refuse to pay extra for Blu-Rays when DVD quality suits me just fine.

1000 VHSs?? I retired my VCR 10+ years ago but still have classic VHS titles lingering in my basement... 

I have hundreds of DVDs and will still purchase one every so often for dirt cheap and watch it upscaled.

I only have 8 blu-rays that play on my Sony 3D Blu-ray player, although, the 3D feature is useless cause I don't have a 3D TV and probably won't ever buy one.
