I have been playing MHFreedom Unite. Its interesting but i had a few issues with it.

The beggining is very slow and you have to learn alot of stuff. Its a complex game no doubt.
So, you need to go through alot of boredom while learning the ropes. After that the game gets into gear and becomes more interesting, still very grindy but interesting to try and figure out how to take out those huge beasts and get better gear. My only problem is that i'd like to see a bit more story to it to give the player a drive to carry on.

I'm hoping MH3G and MH4 improve upon it. I'm optimistic that they will be announced for western release soon enough.

It's not a complex story, but there is some story there. I even liked the way they presented Lagiacrus. By the way, it seems like a complex story is not part of the game since the beginning, so I don't really think they will start at some point. I actually like it for its story so far. Short and simple: you are a monster hunter and you're helping the village. Keep it up.

I have recently begun playing monster hunter tri. Didn't know this series was so awesome! Wow!! Impressive game.

On a side note, I prefer the Wii controls to using the classic pro controller. The same thing happened with Xenoblade. Does anyone else prefer Wiimote+Nunchuk in these games to the classic/classic pro? Somehow I really like the way the wiimote+nunchuk feels.

Monster Hunter is a series whose value is best expressed via local multiplayer; even more so than Smash or Mario Kart.

Is there local multiplayer on MHTri or are you sugesting it on the PSP?

If your interested on playing online, I willing to help u on raise your HR.

Name: KLASH, I have over 1500+ hours. Let me know.

Play with this guy.  He is a beast on this game.  I've played with him many, many times.

MH Tri is a great game.  It is so good that you don'y know how good it really is until you play it for at least 50 hours.

Shouldn't I finish the single player story first? I'm loving it thus far. Right now I'm at the final three star quest. I wouldn't want to be doing stupid things with a crappy armor while he's all equiped and ready for anything that comes.

I handt seen MH3G footage in a very long time and since getting MH2G (MHFU). The animations really look so deluxe on tri. <3

I think u should finish the single player first, that's what I did before I went online. When u feel ready to get online let me know.

I really like the franchise, making weapons and/or armour out of harvested bodyparts of dead monsters is very cool indeed for me personally.

ive never played one MH game, my first one is going to be MH4, which looks impressive by the way..

Thanks for that. I do prefer to test myself on all these great beasts before I try out online.
