Torvalds is speaking about a narrow issue here (their lack of open source driver or information released to allow a complete community open source driver) but he's right. AMD and Intel have had an open driver and specs for a long time.

Nvidia screwed over MS on the original X-Box also. Good thing that they went with ATI for the 360 and it looks like they will keep ATI for their next console also.

I have been at gamrconnect from time to time but as I said when all the site changes took place this site started getting less interesting and having a different "feeling". Slowly but surely I started posting much less, as other people did too I think...

But I still like it :)

Yeah the changes here are a problem. But you just need to be stubborn, like me.

Do you only play games on your Nvidia PC? Apart from a Wii, you did have an X360, didn't you?

My current PC is AMD-only ;) The old one was relegated to media-center tasks.

Yeah I have those two consoles but I don't play consoles so much these days. Just a bit of Guitar Hero sometimes and I plan to play SMG2 again and maybe Zelda:TP again as well.
