Famitsu has some mega Atlus news this week. The magazine reveals that development has started on Shin Megamitensei IV. The target for this latest numbered entry in the franchise is 3DS.

Believe me, no lie, the first thing I said as soon as I saw this was:
"Holy ****"

This is HUGE, I have been waiting for something like this. I only fear that this game might not make it to Europe as with other SMT games and since the 3DS is region locked, there's not much I can do. Lets hope for otherwise.

Don't even kid me! But my second 3DS (the remodel) is going to be american, so as long as it leaves japan it's fine.

Yea if you want to play anything Atlus and you live in Europe, then you should be buying an american console. They are horrendously bad in localising games to Europe, often just not doing it and if they do its months or even years before it happens.

In fact I don't think any of the DS SMT games ever made it to europe or the 3DS remake. The only games that ever made it to europe are the persona games, albeit with huge delays. And more recently Catherine.
