Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wii U has “more RAM” than other current consoles and “really great processor”,

Im not worried. Nintendo pretty much proved in the last 12 months that - A- they're willing to promote third-party titles as a priority, B- they're willing to drop price when needed, and C- If they beat Sony in Japan, half the battles won already.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Thats what she said

I wonder how many of the 3rd party games would be "better" on the Wii U and if it is worth waiting for the Wii U to play them?

Ninja Gaiden 3
Darksiders 2
Aliens - Colonial Marines

Anything else?

I'm with you, if Darksiders 2 or Aliens - Colonial Marines has any specific advantage, I will by one if it sells me.

I need some Sudoku in my life again!

That didn't help me at all...

Too young to remember the glorious, glorious meltdowns of the Final Fantasy XIII multiplatform announcement. It's the most butthurt anyone has seen in a long time, i must say, though i was too distracted by damage control for Nintendo's E3 2008 at the time, fighting against the rise of sudden Nintendo fans who turned quickly into the most vocal Nintendo haters.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

It depends on what you call "specific advantage". Just thinking of the radar on the uPad for Aliens: Colonial Marines makes me want that version over the other ones.

You also forgot to mention Assassin's Creed 3 and its RUMORED enhancements:

- controller will act as some form of link to the Assassin's Creed "Animus"
- controller can feature a map on-screen, as well as other navigation tools
- Animus Database entries may pop up on the controller screen
- character biographies and bits of information that would normally be on your TV can be displayed on the controller
- these can be read later at your leisure
- touchscreen weapon selection during combat
- Quick change from dual-wield combat to single with a touch
- use the touch screen to view Eagle Vision
- use the built-in accelerometer to control the camera view while in Eagle Vision.

I thought those were ideas told by Ubi that they will implement for the WiiU

maybe not all of them though..

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(
