Also, here's the Classic Controller. I would get the Pro since it's better suited and it resembles a Playstation controller. No batteries required, just plug it into your Wii remote.

Watching your games list, you should like these games:
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Very, very good FPS)
Metroid Other M (Very good Action game)
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Donkey Kong: Country Returns
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (best Wii game of 2011)
Xenoblade Chronicles (considered one of the best JRPG this gen)
The Last Story (from FF "father")
Sonic Colors (Wii exclusive)

Sadly there's no Pokemon worth to Wii, if you found try the Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness for GC

PokePark and PokePark 2 are the only Pokemon games that I remember being on the Wii. Number 2 recently came out and it looks pretty fun, you get to play as a Pokemon and such.
I would suggest you get The Legend of Zelda: SS just to try it out and see how you like it. It's a great game (#1 in my list currently!) It's a little more expensive than normal games though since you need a Motion Plus Controller in order to play it, it's worth it though. And of course get SMG 1 and 2.

(You need to change the title to "bought" not "brought" by the way.) (Great choice in buying a Nintendo Console.)

You have to get the games mentioned above. They are one of the main reasons why the Wii is so good. Make sure you play them with your family and friends.

 

Now. Can anybody suggest other sports game for Wii?
