Very unlikely since they're pure multiplayer games.

Actually, the Single Player was praised by many for it's Stealth elements

Maybe they can make a "HD" collection possibly through PSN.

Dark Souls for the PC was only possible because of a petition

http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/04/07/petition-attrition-dark-souls-confirmed-for-pc/

and Gravity Rush for Europe was supposed to be only available through psn until someone from vg community (forgot his name but he had a mortal kombat sektor avatar) started a petition for the game to have a physical copy to be released in Europe.

Socom 1 and 2 are in my opinion the pinnacle of online console gaming. Nowadays everything is just a watered down COD which itself has been made so simple and basic such that anyone can pick it up and 'pwn'. The clan scene on these games were incredible, I played on the EU side but Socom 2 in it's prime had some 200 clans competing most of who played matches every night. I think the clan I formed probably played over 1000 clan matches over socom 2, 3, CA, Confrontation and 4 just to show how dedicated Socom fans are lol. I still played FIFA with the main people from the clan too.

People who weren't a part of it really missed out. Online gaming just hasn't got the same sense of community that the early Socom games had. I'm not sure a HD remake could ever recreate what it was like then but it'd still absolutely **** on anything that's on offer nowadays. I wouldn't want them to remake Socom 1 and 2 though as it'd split the community and whatnot.

IMO they should take Socom 2's online, make it look as good as possible, fix the glitches / hit detection, stick the Socom 4 in game clan ladder system into it and release it on PSN for 15 bucks or something. Give us some new maps / modes every 3 months and go from there. I know absolutely tons of people who would buy it in an instant, I don't think people appreciate just how many dedicated the core socom 1 / 2 / 3 fans are lol.

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Make a cheap, easy-to-make, fifteen dollar socom game with the core of great Socom games. Don't focus too much on the graphics, but make them bearable, make them clean. Hell, they could even use the same maps. I'm sure Sony could have Blueprint games or somebody work on it. There's not much risk involved at all. It could even be Vita compatible. Someone should post this idea over on the PS Blog.

I remember playing a PSN game last year called Modern Combat: Domination. It was from some developer called Gamezone who was notorious for making rip-offs of bigger games and this game was ripping off Call of Duty. But to my surprise, the game was fun as hell. It had very low production values, the graphics looked like Xbox Graphics, but they were clean & crisp and easy on the eyes. The thing that made it fun and worth buying was the brilliant maps and awesome gameplay. Both of which, past Socom games have done well (aside from the hit detection, etc). If Sony put out a Socom game following that route, I'm sure it would be successful.

I love Zipper and im deeply upset that Sony let them go. I hope they carry on and even if they go multi plat i dont care as long as they're still making games. I loved MAG and SOCOM 4 and although i can see why Sony let them go i think that the software they made couldve pushed technology further i mean look at the 256 player online with MAG, that was revolutionary. Yh their games weren't loved but their software was a massive boost to the industry. In my opinion Sony have lost some amazing innovators. IMO it also seems that just because Zippers games didn't become COD like everything else is nowadays they failed. If i am correct then i feel that the gaming community must hang its head in shame for sinking to such levels.

Wait... does this mean im not human?
