PS3 just needs a cut to $199 WW and it will easily surpass the 360, especially since it's beginning to really do well in japan.....
PSV has something going for it, the fact the parts within the system are less than 200 bucks to make, so chances are sony are making a small profit on each system sold.....

it's a war of gamers only. the problem is that many take it to far, and user's like you and myself(and a few others) refuse to spend time repeating what we've been saying for the past 7 yr's.
it simply gets old, and others would rather lurk then bother witht the needless banter(without the playful teasing as per its definition) being forced a pone them as they defend the console they support.
it simply in loose terms gets to the point to where it's not worth it.
OT: Vita Japan needs rpg's quick, Vita America needs COD, and maybe FIFA. Europe and Vita are a match made in heaven.

PS3 kept part of the gap reduction it achieved through the year anyway.
Moreover, Kinect launch in 2010 and huge 2nd BF and Xmas boosts in 2011 fully justified the huge advertising and marketing investments MS made the last two years, but it's quite likely that next BF and Xmas, with XB360 finally declining, that investment won't be as big, while the price reduction will be just formal, as de facto XB360 has already long been available for far less than $150/150€.
We can expect XB360 to win Xmas shipments again anyway, as it sells extremely well and retailers will prefer to sell some more units during clearance sales that risking shortages for the holidays, but maybe this time they'll have enough sales data to avoid ordering SO many more than necessary.
Finally, about global weekly numbers, good 3DS and PS3 WW, meh the others, horrible DS, good PSV in Europe and XB360 in NA, and a curious diagonal pattern of the top 3, with 3DS dominating Japan, PS3 europe and XB360 North America. Still too early to tell around what numbers PSV will stabilize, but Sony must do something more in America and a LOT more in Japan for it.

Escape plan size - 800Mb and its one of the first PSN games on Vita... Do you think that someone can stay like 1 year with a 4Gb memory card? Ok, for those who will not download games, 4Gb is more than enough, and download games isnt the "main" thing in the market, i know that. What i want to say is that a lot of people bought the 18~32Gb card, and this make the Sony "loss" on every system sold dont hurt too much. And yes, i think these cards are expensive, especially in my country, US$ 35 for 4Gb card if we import, US$ 55 if we buy on the gray market. They dont sell it oficially here, only with the bundle, wich cost almost US$ 900.

The bold part is a good point... PS3 now is selling 20k per week over Wii... can it surpass Wii in Japan??? The gap today is ~4 million.

No chance. The market for Wii has always been bigger than for the PS3, so market saturation sets in earlier for the latter. Also the WiiU will take away most the sales from the PS3, as it will have Nintendo key software at better gaphics (presumably) going into holidays.

If someone is planning on buying a lot of PSN games they wouldn't buy a 4gig card....
If someone is planning on buying a lot of PSN games, they can probably afford a bigger card....
You think these people who bought these 16-32gig memory cards make up for Vita losses and/or R&D? I can tell you now, they don't.

Good point VGKing, however it's already a given that most gamer's who initially bought a Vita are hardcore Playstation fans!!! Though, if they do get the 4GB card I doubt Sony is making much money on them anyways? I got a 16GB card for ~$10 on my 3DS reaffirming my belief that the 3DS offers more bang for the buck!!! On another note, things are really looking bad for the Vita, it seems to only be selling to the Playstation crowd and not expanding much. When Wii U comes out it'll have another competitor for people's hard earned $$$$!!!
