Those games will help vita sale up a little bit but this is far from the savior it needs

I agree with VicViper, if the developers/publishers don't start seeing good sales numbers sooner than later, they will mark the platform as not financial viable and remove their future projects from it to another ones. The problem with the PSVita is not about the quality of the games or the technology of the device, is about sales and what they showed today is not going to help them in that regard, not as is needed.

I stronly recommend to try Persona 3 first, especially if you have a Vita you can try the PSP version one (Persona 3 Portable) 

Persona 4 is really similar to 3, and to some is the best persona. While it has nice characters, the story was IMO veeeeeery weak but the characters compensated that loss.

Taking aside my love for Persona 3, I think you should really try to play those games since they are really really something else

The vita is going to do fine, dosn't matter if the 3ds is goIng to sale more this or that. The vita is a far better console, hands down. It will pick up and stand on it's own. Games are coming. Let it go.

i'm hoping they give it a price cut before persona 4 releases, 35 euros is a bit steep for a psp game right now.

Boo! what do you mean weak?

I like the story in P4 more but I like the characters in P3 more. P4 for me has a great phasing and balance although has limited places to go to unlike in P3.

Play the whole series but I recommend playing P3 first just like MRK suggested for me P3 is greater than it's predecessors.

Developers will only make games if they think they will sell -the Vita needs to pick up in hardware sales otherwise developers might leave the system; the same happened to the 3DS before the price cut, and I'm pretty sure that Sony admitted that some developers have already left

Super Robot Wars is in development for Vita.
