By using that money to create the true official olympics game for the xbox360/ps3 and pc.

The game is called Being 2008 and will have 35 events, online play and a very inventive control mechanisme. What they gonna put a Wiimote clone with it?

I officially lost all hope in good thirth party support. It's not just the game but it's way that the consoles that sell the least get the best game.

I expect them to not sell more then 200000 lifetime the people that play these things are mostly NOT on those consoles.

 

You can forget my nights and ghost squad purchase sega.

I saw this. I had the same gut reaction and then remembered most olympic games end up as crap and don't sell terribly well, so most likely Wii isn't missing anything.
And who knows, with the way M&S is selling, Wii may get a sequel in time for the olympics anyway.

 Most likely it's going to be another crappy Sega game. I'm not sure why you are angry about this.

Wow. That's fantastically lame.

Oh well. They're going to sell way more copies of M&S on DS and Wii than they would sell of the official Olympics game even if it was on DS and Wii.

 yup that's the reason I don't care about the game itself. Allthough using the mario and sonic wiimote schemes that would totaly rock with online play.

It's that they put a kiddy version on the wii. Even though I could have sworn in the previous announcement ( or releaselist ) from being 2008 the wii and ps2 where both listed so they scrapped that.
