right because Vita sales, library / support, and fan following indicate what you're saying.... not. the Nintendo 3DS is not even doing exceptionally well by the historical standard, yet is still asbolutely killing the Vita

you realize that 10m in sales after a few years is quite poor, right? it 'will do good'? how long do you think the lifetime of a handheld lasts?

Well that's where we disagree then i guess. At least people were questioning a prediction like this, the other ones were just expected by pretty much everyone.

I still have complete believe that the system isn't selling anywhere near its potential, but oh well. We can only hope that Nintendo delivers with their next system in terms of the hardware.

Actually now that i think about it, the 200mil prediction though still a HUGE stretch Isnt as bad as it looks. Wii Was selling at such a crazy rate for the first few years, you think that 150mil would easily be possible.

Of course this prediction thread was made right before the launch of vita but still there was 3DS to beat.

We all make crazy predictions though once in awhile, i calmed down for instance. I think my worst predictions here were either 20mil sold 3ds's in 2013 or XY to hit 20mil lifetime (though mine isnt as bad as the op or his PSASBR>SSBB prediction lol XD)

It's a damn site better than any other hand held systems Nintendo didn't make and more than Wii U has done so far. Developers seem happy with software sales on it. Seems the Vita could be getting itself enough of an ecosystem to exist.
