So much for M$ being evil and Sony is the one with abusive profits.

A new  Microsoft Xbox 360 Game = U$ 75

In Perú the VITA is $500.
PS3/XBOX360 original games are $65-70

After 12 years in the US, I'm moving back To Brazil this year.I know I'll never get used to those abusive prices. Of course I'm always gonna come back to the US to do some shopping.

Erm Sony's made huge losses for the past 3 years. So tell me again how it is Sony's the one with abusive profits. Sony seems to be practicing cross market subsidies, i.e. selling cheap in USA to try to maintain market share and attempting to re-coup by selling expensive in "unimportant" markets. That's a whole different sort of evil, but evil abusive profits, I don't think so.

Anyway you can only have abusive profit making in a monopoly or virtual monopoly situation. i.e. where the company is actively excluding competition from the market and at the same time hiking up massive profits. AFAIK Sony isn't doing that so they are not making abusive profits. Now MS on the other hand with a virtual monopoly in the PC operating system market has undertaken all sorts of abusive business practices.

Sony is being abusive in Brazil, there is no doubt about that. Just compare the prices with MS. Everything in Brazil is more expensive than pretty much anywhere else in the world due to high, very high government taxes, but in this case Sony is just going way overboard.
