The 3DS vs DS sales seem to be as little off (non Media Create.) The 3DS did better in it's first Holliday Season than the DS.

No. That's Media Create numbers with Launch aligned... DS did better than 3DS in first full holiday in Japan.

The problem here is DS was launched in December and 3DS in Febuary.

3DS sold 28.252 in the 8th week... Vita sales is not so bad.

correct...in a dead time of year and with total sales by that time of 900k... almost twice the Vita.  Those sales were seen as terrible leading to  aprice cut...

now the vita is doing even worse... so what does that mean to you?

From GAF.

3DS vs. DS

PSV vs. PSP

Did you notice some similarity?

That's DS's second holiday season you're looking at if I'm not mistaken

DS was launched in Dec 2nd... so the first month was the first half holiday season ... but the first full holiday season was bigger than the first full holiday season.

3DS is just ahead DS because it already have the first full holiday season... after that the DS is tracking better than 3DS.

Yeah, the Vita needs a pricecut. Oh wait, it can't. It's already selling at a loss only recuperable in 3 YEARS.

I'm pretty sure that the 3DS had a better first Holiday Season.

er... the 3ds had a price cut....

whats your point?

Vita aint getting a price cut.

I'm saying both 3DS and Vita had a worst start than their predecessors in Japan... so the Vita sales is not bad for today standard.

Let me see, 3DS had terrible sales, it got a price cut. Not sure if PSV can have one, but no worries, because the sales ain't bad for today's standards.
