This game isn't worth that much space on my hardrive.

The updates have just updated version of the same files... so after install all the updates and the full install for it the game have 10GB installed in my hard drive.

The full install of GT5 without patches is bigger than 6GB... there are two parts the first 6.5GB install and after you play the game the assests are descompressed than the final install is close 10GB.

Even with the patches the final game data for GT5 is 10GB.

Anyway the install is optional .... I deleted this installed files sometime and all the patches only give me just 1.2GB of data.

I feel we will get a GT6P , why stop something that going on GT5P sales netted them somewhere between 150 -200 mill no other game as anything like it it 's basically a demo that sells 5mill copies and funds the full game with money left over .

Just sold my GT5 platinium no more than 3 days ago to change it for the Academy Edition, but now i have my doubts. I think they may condiser releasing a final "Complete Edition" with all the updates and dlcs available when PD announces they stop supporting GT5. Then there are the GT6 on the PS3 rumors getting stronger everyday.

So what do you think ethomaz, is it worth waiting at least till E3 or even holidays until things about another GT5 edition and GT6 clarify or getting the Academy Edition now is the best solution. To add it's not like I'm playing GT5 every day, rather seldom on occasion but I'm sure I want to buy it.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Is there anyway of buying this game with the patches installed? The install is big enough as it is without the patches.

I think you can wait but I don't know if a new ver with more patches included will be released .

The XL in US include until the patch 2.00 and the Academy Edition in EU include until the 2.07... these are the latests retail version so you will need to donwload and install the others patches until the version 2.12.
