Nope, I'm quite content with the hardware I have right now (PS3 and a fast PC), so I don't want any current gen stuff. As for the next gen, so far only handhelds are (or are about to be) released. I don't play games on the go since when I'm travelling somewhere, I'm usually riding a bike or driving the car. No time to play games then, so no handhelds for me. ;) Plus, I couldn't care less about the Nintendo software library or motion gaming, hence I won't ever get a WiiU.

only if the nextbox launches next year. I may get a wiiU, its all down to price on if I get it at launch or wait for a price drop or buy it used.

I'll be getting a new 360 4 gb Kinect bundle for the living room as it's become my daughter's main place to watch all the kiddy stuff on Netflix. That's it video game wise unless Xbox enters the next gen this year. Also an Ipod touch, probably 32 gig. Then a new larger plasma for the living room cause ya know kids these days, even at one and two years old, can't stand watching Toy Story on a measly 46" screen...time to upgrade. A new monitor for my gaming sessions too and maybe a new phone if Verizon offers anything decent WP7 wise, sorry I'm rambling here.

And maybe also an Android smartphone, probably an Alcatel OT-990. And maybe a new monitor, if I won't be able to resurrect a bunch of dead pixels that grew from a few ones to some tens, grouped initially in a lowercase "t" shape very annoying as it made me misread a lot of things, and growing from that, now in a curious hooked rod shape with key-like patterns at both ends.

I doubt the PS4, or XB3 will release in 2012 but if they do it's possible.
As for the Wii U...I don't have much interest in it right now. It will depend on the price and games.

In short, possibly a new Home System depending on what is available.
