I agree, I wasn't precise enough, but with "properly supported", I actually meant "properly supported by Ninty itself": 1st party is more important for Nintendo consoles than for competitors, if Ninty fans want Mario, Zelda and Metroid games, 3rd parties can't fill that gap, they can nicely complete the games library, but they can't replace its main ingredients. While milking too much the best franchises and series would be bad, making too little of those eagerly desired games doesn't make sense, Ninty's top sellers reward dev costs and efforts with stratospheric sales and princely profits.
