I loved Great fox...

Why do I get this feeling that SSMB will be the last one :s;...

It does seem like they are throwing everything they can in it.  Maybe next gen there will be another, probably this is it for this gen though.

Honestly with the stage editor i probably won't need another one ever.

That will be incredibally life eating....

I don't think they will give up on one of their biggest 'hard core' franchises.  Especially since from a development standpoint, making a game like Brawl has go to take a whole lot less time and money than say SMG, but I can promise you that Brawl will outsell SMG significantly.  Very significantly.  I mean a lot.

Hopefully Nintendo will finally get some DLC thing working and we can download other stages. 4
About this news, I'm very happy they're bringing some of the stages from Melee back.
Now just give me hyrule castle from SSB and ill be fine

Why download them if you can just put them in the game before you buy it?

I just hope that the Hyrule Castle and pokemon stage from the original SSB will be playable.

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

Looks awesome!

Of course, the people who take this game too seriously will only play on the one or two flatter levels, so they'll never see these. But the rest of us will be having fun with our item-heavy melees on top of Great Fox and Yoshi's Island. :)

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

The only thing that I can think about now is a 3D version of the franchise but I don't think I will love that.

I prefer the 2d version in 3D it could suck if you can't see the characters who are not in the camera angle.

^^'' After all I think this will be the best version of the franchise especially with the stage editor it would be very hard to make the next one appealing like SSMB.

I personally hope they include most of the Melee stages, and what they have shown is just a partial list. I also hope they bring back the first game's stages too, especially the Temple. Good to see that the Temple, Corneria, and Rainbow right are making a return. Let's hope for Big Blue!

There is probably going to be another 4-6 years (maybe wii2 launch title ) until even a possibility of another Smash the way I see it.  Who knows what they could add.  I'm sure the Online mode could be much improved (organized tournements, leader boards, etc.)  Maybe more than 4 players, tag team modes, things like that.

I have a feeling all Melee stages will return. Think about all they were able to cram onto a 1.5gb disc, and now think what they can do with 10 gigs.
