Gran Turismo 5 Gets New “Spec II” Box Art, Refreshed Disc

Gran Turismo 5 will be getting a new cover featuring the Red Bull X2011, along with a refreshed disc that includes GT5 Spec II - in Japan, at least. According to the announcement posted on Polyphony Digital’s Japanese website, the new package will be available starting February 2, 2012 in the country.

As of writing, similar news has not yet been posted to the company’s European or North American websites, though it is likely safe to assume these changes will eventually filter around the world.

Ask me about being an elitist jerk

Time for hype

Great idea really the size of the patches can be a little harsh for people with slow internet connections we will more than likely see this filter out across the rest of the world as well

Not too keen on the cover to be honest.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

I agree. I have been wating for this one before I buy GT 5 because I don't want to endure another BF 2 kind of patch. That patch took 1 day for me and I can't even use my PS3 for that day.
