Swimming in this game reminds me of swimming in Galaxy, and i got messed up pretty badly by that spear-and-shield ogre in the giant tree

Silent Realm was... interesting. I could see those getting quite challenging in the future

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Started up Hero Mode.

This is by far the hardest 3D Zelda and I'm going to stand by that until I choke to death on the words, but it's like pretty much every Zelda game after Adventures of Link: once you know what to do, it's all muscle memory, and the challenge is probably largely gone.

Hero Mode might prove me wrong through sheer attrition and me making stupid mistakes, but I don't expect this runthrough to be as difficult as my initial one in the Normal mode.

Stuck on the Imprisoned round 3. No guides on gamefaqs go this far yet.... lol... What do I do when Goose's gun stops working and the imprisoned is fly right at the sealed temple!!!!

"spoiler"

You have to enter the catapult and throw yourself on the imprisoned.

lol felt like a dumbass when I tried it. I was convinced that I had to somehow reload Groose's gun for him.... all this while The Imprised was floating right at me..... lol.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Just beat 7th Temple, and my oh my, I loved that place. The basic mechanic of the dungeon took me way back to pre-OoT type deals. So rewarding when I finally completed the entire thing.

That would be a moblin.

The trick to moblins is pretty simple. If they have a wooden shield, just cut it to bits and be careful.

OR use the same strategy as you would against a steel-shielded one - either use arrows to headshot 'em from afar (if you get the right spot, you can actually one-shot 'em), use bombs to get them to turn away from you, or drop down on the ledge and shimmy past them.

Or you can use the most efficient strategy, no matter what shield they have. You just run up their shield and automatically jump behind them, leaving them stunned and open for some easy strikes. Rinse and repeat.

The Moblin in the tree doesn't even need to be killed, so it's for the best to just get past him and proceed to the exit. Getting pushed off the edge only means that you have to climb up the tree again.

I wasn't aware they could be one-shotted with the bow (I'd like to know this spot Mr. thetonestarr), but if they can then it's much more efficient than running over them, even using the most powerful sword.

I haven't been able to figure out the sweet spot precisely. Sometimes I take 'em out super easily with the bow, sometimes it takes me five arrows to do it.

I did get pushed off, but i didn't have to re-climb, unless we're talking about another moblin. The one that is inside the tree, if you fall, it just acts like a bottomless pit

Would you happen to be using the Sacred Bow?
