I believe most people would pick Kart over Smash if they are considering online multiplayer.  However, I believe Smash beats Kart for offline.  If Smash didn't have lag when playing online I would have played it a lot more.  Anyways, that is a good question for a debate (which one is better, offline Smash or Kart multiplayer?).

I never gave the game a chance.  I should maybe look to pick it up off Amazon for cheap.  I had a friend over and we were playing Hockey (NES, published by Nintendo) on VC.  It is the game where you can pick between a skinny, medium, and a fat person.  My friend kept picking all fatties so I had to beef up my team to two fatties and two mediums.   I destroyed him the next two games after he won the first game.  Even though the graphics and gameplay are very simple it is a blast to play.  I'd suggest anyone to pick it up on the Virtual Console.

Mario Strikers Charged is by far the best out of the games listed. I would consider more of a "hardcore" party game though considering that it takes some skill to get good at.

Also, Mario Kart is the best Nintendo multiplayer game this generation. The only drawback is hackers online.
