i think you're probably right about the 360, and i also agree about the ps3 -- that looks too good to be true which probably means it isn't true.

It had price drop recently and was massively undertracked in USA. High sales in EMEA look realistic to me ;)

if 360 can get the kinect effect it got last year then at this point i can see the gap going back to 3.5 AT MOST by the end of the holidays

but we all know that the kinect effect wont be as big as it was when it was 1st launched last year and i am also sure their wont be a $500 mill marketing/ads for it this time around aswell

now if microsoft were smart they would do the price cut no later than november 1st but if they dont then hey there is no telling where the gap will be

I think that what they really need to do is start bundling Xbox360s with a PS3. That could give them some kind of a chance.

I pretty much agree with what you said. Just have to point out that the 500 million ad campaign was for the whole Xbox franchise and I believe it was for half a year or something like that. It really wasn't any bigger than the average PS3 or Wii ad campaign.

and there is No starwars kinect this holiday so kinect No effect

I think that SW kinect game could have helped, especially with movies on Bluray now.  Im not even seeing that much ads or attention being paid to DC2 or Kinect Sports and those are the biggest games

Order the SSG-3700CR glasses, the one included with the tv are piss poor. Lots of crosstalk due to slow refresh rate of the LCD shutters also change of colors due to the yellow taint of the lenses.

I ordered 4 from this seller, 2 days delivery with Fedex and they are genuine:

Oh and between, theres lot of free 3D contents in the samsung smart TV hub, section "explore 3D". Theres at least 8 full lenght Imax documentary to stream freely + video clip of sexy korean girls and black eye peas, also some kids content.
