You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

I don't know what is up withat show, but I cannot stand it. It seems to basically be The  Real World?

I've never even met anyone who does

Just watch Fox News, CNN the Bachelor/Bachelorette or any other reality TV show.

Yeah, I don't like American TV, it's so...fake.

To be honest I prefer Canadian TV. Not saying Canadian made content but the shows we have available on basic cable up here.

In Canada we get the Canadian made programs due to laws which state television networks have to play a certain amount of Canadian content. Then we also get British television shows, American television shows and sometimes even Bollywood and other programming all on basic cable.

We get the best tv the world has to offer, I was recently in the US for PAX and was watching television and there was some pretty fucked up shit on basic cable.

During the one evening I saw four shows that I thought were insane lets start with the most insane and work my way down.

1. A show about witches at war with Vampires and Ware Wolves thrown into the mess with a group of humans struggling to survive. The police were infiltrated by the different factions. The plot was so confusing and asinine not to mention two sex scenes that were sorta weird thrown in for no real reason. I watched the whole hour long episode and was so confused. (Apparently the shows name is True Blood and just started airing on HBO in Canada this year....sad)

2.Another show appeared to be a sitcom not entirely sure. It stars a family of people who go around wearing ski masks all the time. The premise is stupid but maybe that's supposed to be the funny part. I found the show was pretty dull the humor sucked and the main characters voice very annoying. (That show is called Delocated)

3. A show about a man dog, I really didn't stick around to watch it. There was a character dressed in a dog suit talking and it seemed sort of wild. I changed the channel pretty fast to something else, just went to find its name and reading the plot I guess its an interesting concept but certainly classifies as weird. (Shows called Wilfred, now coming to Canada)

4. A show with a clown doctor played by the great Rob Crodry by far the funniest of the four shows. But this is as weird as it gets and all over the place its not just a spoof its as outlandish as a comedy can get. I found it to be interesting and funny at times but in the end didn't see the value in the show.

Now of course I note two of those programs are in Canada now, however they are on channels you need to order and not basic TV or even the more advanced package. They are on specialty channels at least I know FX isn't included in any of my packages and has to be ordered separately.

American TV is really weird I have not been to Britain apparently they have weird tv shows too but America is just nutz!

All you gotta do is watch some of our reality shows for an hour to see how stupid and twisted our TV is.

True Blood is actually pretty good. Of course its not gonna make any sense when you see one episode when the show is now 4 seasons in. As with any series that has an ongoing story line you cant just jump into the middle of it and expect to have any clue as to what is going on.
