yea GEARS is the benchmark for wht 360 can do. manipulation by one of the industries best in game development.

I don't like it how Digital Foundry have decided to write a three paragraph review on the game at the end of every article, it only allows them to nitpick what can't be nitpicked on a technical level, the Uncharted comparison was silly when it wasn't even about technical design and instead just about intelligent game design.

Besides that, they did a good job. Epic do some great work and it goes to show that even the most limited engine can bring out the best in games when it's in the hands of a skilled team, though I'll admit that it probably needs an update in the near future.

anyway looks awesome, really pushing the 360. do you guys think it was saying Gears of War 3 is best looking 360 game. it sounded like it. and it looks like it, beats out Crysis 2

If these are direct feed, then sorry but if this is the best of what X360 has to show, then it only proves people who say that main PS3 Exclusives graphics > the rest. Honestly, so many low res textures on key things, aliasing, even the guns are low res, wtf, and that monster.... I won't even talk about walls.

I think those are from Digital Foundry though, not that it really matters since the game is built around effects so it's good in motion.
