What I find funny is how no one in Graphidonia seems to stay king for more than a week maybe a month, there seems to be an overwhelming amount of backstabbing and behind the scenes plotting, it seems to have all the plot of a really interesting politcal drama. My guess is, it's only a matter of time before Battlefield the 3rd is murdered/poisoned and his throne handed over to someone else, that's why I find it funny.

They themselves admit this in the websites footnote.  So its ironic to me anyway that we use their tests to determine graphical or technical prowess. On the subject of graphics being null and void. I never actually said that.  What I said was everything basically looks the same to me now at the top except BF3 on PC. Then like 40 mins later I saw this BF3 360 gameplay and was pretty blown away. For me it is that next level of detail and animation and lighting that made me sit up.  And well, because as the thread shows the users of VGC demand this of me.  ;)))))) If you really want to see advanced animation, look no further than the Uncharted games. Those games have really fluid animations, much more so than an FPS can ever have.

But BF3 has shown better imo.

Less breaks in animation. Most noteable in UC when the animation is changing from jumping to hold onto a ledge or from a run to a jump for example. Really good. But not BF3 smooth.

You're right. I was lured in by the ridiculous posts that I knew would take place in this thread. Sure enough, I saw just that when I entered. I've read the entire thread and I must admit I laughed a few times, but my main feeling was dissapointment. Dissapointment in how crazy people can get. This happens in all your threads.

Reminds me of Leo-J's thread claiming Uncharted 1 looks better than any X360 title ever. Of course, the whole foundation of the thread is absurd & OBVIOUSLY FALSE, yet Leo still managed to MAKE people search the web for pictures better than UNCHARTED 1. And when they did, he turned them down and MADE them search for more & more pics. He had them go on an endless search for evidence of something they already knew was true. All while Leo set back laughing at their futile efforts. Wow, Leo-J really IS a genious.

I think I'm gonna make a thread claiming Resistance 3 looks better than Gears 3 & watch as people go crazy.

The animation you are seeing in battlefield is comparable to - killzone 2. The animation in Uncharted 2 and 3 is in another league completely. Its not even comparable.

 

And crysis 2...omg can't believe people bring this up even now. Go look up the no. of definitive graphic awards Uncharted 2 got even after releasing after killzone 2, not rubbish like "one of the best" "best looking fps" "comparable to" "as good as".

And speaking of tech, lets see what digitalfoundry said:

I meant it hilarious that people get so uptight about a persons opinion.

Best thing is, I bet we would all actually sit down and play games to gether in real life.
