I bought it day 1 so no blame falls on me lol. Is there anyway to see/get the sales from the psn?

I have too many games to play atm so not picking it up until it hits low low prices

getting it soon. wanted to get a job before buying it, got a trial run on Monday for one so if I get it, I will go and pick up a copy that afternoon.

I called this in January that PS3 games would see low sales. I straight up called it. The fact is there's too many games and the kind of users who go out of their way to support 1st party titles and research them online are stretched thin with all those games as well as the HUGE number of quality multi-plats. Your going to see the same thing with Resistance and Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank. They will all sell lower than their predecessors. MS from a business perspective has the much better strategy. Release a few games from 1st party, hype the hell out of them, and see big sales. Sony may be better for the "Core Gamer" by providing a lot of experiences but financially MS has the better strategy.

i have the game, but i stopped playing it after i got to the city, does it get any better from there? because its kinda boring.

besides i only got it , so i can put it off for "Later" , i have other games to play.

It has more to do with the quality of the games, as opposed to too many games. I'm not saying the games aren't good. They're just not good enough to outdo their predecessors. Although I do believe inF2 is ahead of inF1 and KZ3 is only below KZ2 by ~50k. The only major game I see being lower than its predecessor LT is LBP2.

Nothing's holding these games back from outselling their predecessors by a huge margin. They all have the potential to do so. It's up to the developers to use that potential. If a game doesn't outdo its predecessor, then it's mainly to due with the quality of the game itself.

As for this holiday, It's not exactly as packed as you make it out to be. Uncharted 3's going to be big, of course. (semi-big if you compare it to something like Gears, COD, etc). Resistance isn't exactly a big franchise. And the new Ratchet & Clank looks like a low-budget cash cow TBH. That just leaves us with one big game, a mid-tier game, a low-budget game, and a few HD collections which should bring in some nice profit.

I got it day1 and platinumed it in a week, and yes it was awesome!

ICO Shadow of Colossus collection will be my $60 purchase this yr. yep the rules have changed again. instead of 1 $60 game a gen, i'll be getting 1 to 2 a yr starting 2012 when i reserve and buy RAGE and the last Guardian.

I did the same thing. And yes, it gets better imo. It's a whole lot better than the first one.

I bought it and i havent made a thread like this in a while. Was thinking of doing a Wii Play Motion one.
