Do some more research...

No 360/PS3 game runs in native 1080p, most don't even run native 720p. The only game which runs native 1080p is Virtua Tennis 3, after that the GT5 store displays car models in 1080p, but that's it.

Also, I'm not sure, but I don't think any game before MGS4 was native 720p. Halo 3 wasn't, Mass Effect wasn't (not on 360), Uncharted wasn't.....nothing was.

So it stays, it's a third party game on an HD console, that's all it needs.
