I carry my 3DS with me, everywhere AND I try to walk closer to people that look like they may own a 3DS for Street Pass purposes. It's madness!

Creepy

I know. I know.  I even feel creepy when I do it.  But whhen that LED lights up and some rendom Mii meets mine, it's all worth it.

Ironic, though.  For all of their efforts to keep kids safe (Friend Codes, No messages, voice chat, etc), they just gave strange guys a reason to walk up to little kids.

I've only met people while using StreetPass only once or twice while at The Gadget Show at the NEC in Birmingham. Also once while I was walking around central London not too long ago as well. The 3DS isn't popular enough yet for me to get them while out in town.

i dont know what s going on but something tell me that, this time nintendo have a good project

In other words: Nintendo was not content with Kid Icarus at the time of 3DS launch.

I think it's likely Miyamoto that push the finish game back into development. He does that all the time.

I think Nintendo's main problem never was too few games (as some fans claim) or too many games of the same (as some non-fans claim), it's aways been timing:
- Kid Icarus - comes too late imo, my guess: no matter when it's released, it wont' sell as much as it would have as a launch game; KI would have been the launch game imo (one of the oldest franchises revived at launch of the latest system)
- Golden Sun 3 - too late, only die-hard fans cared anymore, sold far below predecessors
- Pikmin 3 - announced long ago for Wii, will be developed for WiiU (if at all)
- Smash Bros. WiiU and 3DS - announced far too early, not even in development yet, these games are years away
- Skyward Sword - too late or too early (depends on your view - imo it comes too early, it should have been developed for WiiU in HD)

Just a few examples.

Not to speak of the terrible timing of semi-announcements and denials of western releases of Last Story and Xenoblade - if this "communication" was timed at all.

And the recent "Zelda HD was just a tech demo, actual game doesn't necessarily have to look like this" talk shows they just don't (want to) learn from their mistakes.

Nintendo is one of the best companies in this industry when it comes to quality and profitability, but at the same time one of the strangest when it comes to communication and release schedules.

Nintendo games are the only ones I would buy without checking on numerous reviews before buying, even though, the review system is heavily broken.
