@ookaze

I so agree with many of your points it not even funny, especially about the western developers being more technologists than artist. Artists use what they have and create a masterpeice, Look at how the MGS series on the PS2 looked, still very breathtaking.

I don't agree that you need more power to create a better game, because most of these supposed next gen games feel the same but look just prettier, Though not used the best way in a lot of games, motion controlls bring a new dimension in gaming, and as tme passes, will be one of the devices in gaming we would wonder how we lived with out.

Frankly, The UltimateLife, take Mario Galaxy. I would have preferred if almost all of the motion sensitive parts of that game would have just gone ahead and let me use the analog stick instead.

well thats not the debate here is it Apostrovich :p its about the use of the ps3 motion sensing being so primative in comparison to what the wii remote is capable of doing puerly because of its free hands design of the nunchuck, its not about ur opinion of a games use of it :p

I think 8th generation we'll see the standarization of motion controls. Cause let's face it MS was the only one not to implement it and they are most likely going to get 3rd. Normally 3rd place finishers aren't stubborn when going into the next generation. Normally they either try something completely new or follow the competition, which is what we'll see MS do.

It's just I think because they had a generation off they won't be able to implement it as well and probably will be behind Nintendo and Sony. But yes all 3 will have it. Normally Nintendo sets the standards and the others follow suit. This will be no different.

Its like people completely forget that the ps3 has Motion controls..

lol dude thats cos its hardly ever used, its like a waste of space in the controler, all u can do is tilt and move it around in the air with both hands, far from inovative motion sensing use, it pretty much doesnt even count

Well your right dude, its not like any game uses it. No games on the ps3 use it except that uncharted game were you move up the controller to throw grenades thats it. Six axis sucks.

PS EYE is $hit too, wii mote ftw!

@Rol

What history?

Analog controls didnt come from nintendo, 3d graphics didnt come from nintendo, DVD didnt come from nintendo, online gaming didnt come from nintendo.

Nintendo saved console gaming, and all aspects of it, including analog controllers. Without Nintendo all those things would have flushed down the toilet as a failed market. Without those things you may never have exsisted. Nintendo saved you too.
