Forums - Gaming Discussion - Missing in Action: The games that you actually wanted to see at this E3

Ah another year another E3. You know what they say; sometimes the journey beats the destination and this year wasn't the exception, lots of great games were left out of the event for ... whatever reason. So let's check them:

Valkyria Chronicles 3 (PSP): You know all that people that argue on the internet about how shitty the DS is against the PSP? I wonder if they actually buy any PSP game, mostly because the sales (or lack) in North America were a huge factor to keep this title away from Sega's booth. The future of this game in NA is dark and negative, the chances of getting a PSVita remake is almost zero, soe guy actually asked at the Sega booth about the third game and the answer was that the chance of getting a disk release are thin but a PSN release "maybe could happen"...... so yes I'll go back to my japanese lessons, either that or start bothering NISA.

Last Story, Xenoblade, Fatal Frame (Wii): Yes NOA doesn't even bother to look at this titles to fill the lackluster line of Wii games for the rest of the year ..... but we got the Wii version of Rythmn Heaven ..... Why??? Did they even look at the DS Rythmn Heaven sales in NA?? Didn't they saw the thousands of DS Rythmn Heaven copies sold for just $5 at bargain bin? Any of the three games listed had better chances  to sell here than Rythmn Heaven.

Agent (PS3 ... now maybe Xbox360): This game is almost the Duke Nukem of our generation, 4 years after its announcement has a key PS3 exclusive and we still have almost zero information about this title, on top of that the game maybe is not a exclusive anymore. But we got LA Noir.

Last Guardian (PS3): One of the most anticipated games of the system and still no new info, no new trailer, no new pictures. Originally the title was going to be launched few months after the release of the Ico/Shadow of the Colossus collection, but that isn't happening. It isn't wise to rush the development of a game like this, but a pieace of new info would be great.

The entire WiiU first paty lineup: All kind of crazy rumors are running on these, some people says that Nintendo rushed the development of the WiiU so they don't have any game ready, others say that they are saving everyting for their October event, and other says that Nintendo is just trolling everyone.... I vote for this one.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Oh yes good ol' Square, but we got the promise that Final fantasy XIII-2 will be an actual videogame and not a 20 hours movie.

Metal Gear Solid: Rising (PS3, Xbox360): So with the rumors about Platinum games taking care of this title we could expect a bit of information about it. But nope, zero info was released, no trailer, no pictures, nothing. Instead we got a bunch of info about remakes and HD revisions of the PS2 games, lovely.

Grand Theft Auto V: Well nobody was expected this title, but some sites (cough IGN) posted that this title was the "big surprise" of the event, that fifn't happen and thankfully we'll wait a long time until a new GTA game (well at least that what I think after the underwhelming GTA IV)

Agent is the most notable. It's pretty much vaporware. I wouldn't be surprised if it came 8th gen instead of 7th.

A thousand times this. I was hoping for release date for at least 1 of this tittles (Xenoblade), it could fill the calendar to make it more engaging.

Valkyria Chronicles 3, The Last Story, GTA V, and Starbreeze's new project. I might be forgetting something, but those were the games I wanted to see the most. I am honestly shocked that we have heard nothing about GTA V. Though, even if this is in jest, I wonder if they might have gotten their hands on a WiiU kit.

Beyond Good and Evil 2

Valkyria Chronicles 3, Tales of Graces f, Final Fantasy vs XIII, Last Guardian.

Borderlands 2 and Jak and Daxter Remastered in HD

Missing was actual coolness of e3. I don't care for portability, nintendo, or extra functionality to video games (kinect, move, etc). I want my ****ing games. There was barely any hardcore gaming. Gears is old news IMO, should have been a game that came out last year. Halo/Fable/Gears/Forza stuff isn't news, just confirmations. Resistance 3 demo was absolutely horrible, uncharted 3 demo was meeeehhh; sucked. I just wasn't impressed with the gaming aspects whatsoever. Someone hate on me and point out what games were actually good that were shown, please?

All of this, of course, is just my opinion.

Skyrim 100%'d. Dark Souls 100%'d.
Dark Souls > Skyrim.
Halo 4 is the best damn FPS since Halo 3.
Proud pre-orderer of 2 PS4's and an Xbox One.

Currently Playing: Dark Souls II, South Park
Playstation 4: MGS V GZ, Killzone: Shadow Fall, NBA 2k14.
