Well, looks like you just summed up the modern game industry in one sentence. It's very sad to see, I just hope somehow things will eventually get better (hope, not expect).

Oh, remember last week when I was talking about how I was playing Kingdom Hearts on my PSP and the battery was lasting forever? Well, I just had to finally charge it last night. Granted, my playing became quite sporadic over the past week or so (maybe half an hour at a time, twice a day), but that's still a hell of a battery.

Also: Kingdom Hearts Birth by sleep is a great game, but it's not a great fit for a handheld. Too many lengthy cutscenes. not very good for intermittent gaming sessions. I got in the car, turned the system on, and by the time I got to where I needed to be, I was still in the middle of an important cutscene. Not cool! Great game, though.

I disagree, missions were small in comparison.  And the grinding I was doing was perfect for a handheld, I'd spend 10-20 minutes at a time grinding up levels.  Plus in general I like full featured games in handheld form.  As David Parry put it" Every game is a handheld game with stand by" or something of that effect.

Btw peeps...since JSR is coming to vita (perfect fit btw) I wonder if sony would push them to port games like Shenmue to the vita...that's definitely gonna get some core crowd onboard

I personally don't like them until I see VC3 localized!!!

Looks pretty cool and worth to know is that it's a minis game and will release in June.

This forum is getting Over run with vita hate. It's pretty Sad, best hand held with the best launch line up ever. I'd be remember just to open a new site and instant ban haters. It would be nice if we could also carry the vita love on the vita it's self (app).

Exactly what i said. The system is 3 monts old in NA and Europe.( way to early to call such doom and gloom) But for me the launch line up was dissapointing because of to many ports. The only game i have buyed was Uncharted Golden Abyss and then 3 months of silence. And yes the Nintendo 3DS launch was a disaster but since here on vg charts are a lot of ninty fans and a lot of sony haters its obvious that Sony is critisized a lot for the vita. ( but there were some is the 3DS doomed thread too a year ago).

But right now things have chanced.

i have six games for my vita right now to looking foward: Gravity Rush, Sly 4, Playstation Battle Royale, Dragons Crown,Sacrified Souls, Little Big Planet.

 E3 will be great for the vita. I have no doubt about it.

the gameplay is mostly alright, with brisk battles and boss fights, but the cutscenes drag on forever.  I know this is blasphemous, but I actually don't much care for the confusing, convoluted Kingdom Hearts story.  it's not that it's bad, but if you can't get the whole story with the basic games, it's too convoluted.  It's a good story, just too twisty and in my opinion kinda poorly told.  (I've got a Kingdom Hearts fanatic brother and even he has a super hard time explaining to me what the fucks' going on). 

@basilzero - yeah, the cutscenes aren't MGS4 long or anything, but when you're only in the car for 5-10 minutes at a time, and most of that time is spent loading up the game and resuming the cutscene, well...ew.  just uncomfortable if you ask me.  as for the actual battery stuff:  awesome!  I'm so glad I kept my PSP, I have more than a few games to catch up on.

Malicious looks awesome
