As for Danganronpa. I think it's as much an attempt at expanding their audience, particularly in the West. It's quite clear now great Vita exclusives just disappoint people because they can't play them (buy a Vita? But they cost 10x more than a 3DS with memory cards you need a mortgage to buy and there are no games worth playing)

Haha.  I realised during TGS how much this has been happening and how crappy it is.  Originally it was "Why are they releasing this on Vita?  It's a dead platform" (which helped contribute to it becoming a dead platform, oddly).  Now the rhetoric seems to be "Vita version of this PS4 game?  I wish devs wouldn't do this.  The Vita version is just holding it back!"

Yeah, because everything is going to be an AAA PS4 game from Japan, right?

If it doesn't set the charts alight (and part of me hopes it doesn't, because as freedom wars shows, saying on forums petitions etc you want something and will buy it, and actually doing so are 2 different things) it could be more the exclusives they put on Vita hadnt got any real appeal anyway.

I completely understand where you're coming from with this.  I've thought it too in the past.  But honestly, I enjoy Gravity Rush & Tearaway too much to want to see them fail (even though Tearaway already has, it seemed).  Vita's fate is set in stone at this point whether or not they do well; PS4 bombs isn't going to make Sony suddenly realise they made a mistake and change their minds.  If anything, it's just going to scare them off doing anything other than shootbang western games.

I still need some gameplay from KanColle.

At this rate, this game will never get released.

List of titles planned for Asian release. In there is Moero Crystal, which apparently is getting another Asian-English translation.

There's loads of smaller stuff in there I hadn't heard of too, no idea if any of it is getting an English release.

Also Digimon, confirmation they're only getting Traditional Chinese by the looks of it, so no importing from there either. Bummer.

Damn it's Final Fantasy Agito all over again...Vita owners make Gravity Rush a household name and get shafted...I really don't know what to say; happy GR2 is finally announced but what a slap in the face for vita owners

I am disappoint. The start of the conference looked promising, they showed Vita in one of the first slides, but later on... Ehh... Can't get it why Sony isn't interested at all to take advantage from the niche they've created. A dedicated and reliable niche. As Kresnik said, ports of GT and Demon's Souls would be easy money and would make all of us very happy.

I also find the strategy of forcing the Japanese gamers back to a home console a very questionable one. I think that instead they'll shrug, ditch Sony as a whole and go play even more mobile or next Nintendo handheld.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Here's an english story trailer for Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth.

Can't wait for this game!

Oh and heres a 15 minute video of english gameplay.

It's PS4 gameplay but it honestly doesn't look much different than the Vita version.

City shrouded in shadows announced ps4/vita

Yessssssss! Granzella new game on vita too !!!

Edit: oh lol this isnt disaster report 4, but still its a survival in the same vein. Still excited

Well today has certainly been a day of ups and downs.

Granzella game is awesome; as is Star Ocean 2 coming to Vita. And Samurai Warriors 4 Empires coming to the west!

But Yoru no Nai Kuni being PS4 only in the west, man that stings. It's literally my most anticipated game alongside Tokyo Xanadu. I'll still buy it on PS4, but I was always planning on getting on Vita and then later on PS4.

Man no Vita sucks for Yoru :(

Especially as they're translating it. Washoping we'dat least get digitalreleases ofthose games.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.
