A Boy and his Blob trailer. Doesn't mention it, but it's coming to Vita as well on Jan 19th (confirmed by publisher on Twitter):

Also, Croixleur Sigma will be cross-buy:

A boy and his blob is excellent. Might well have to play through that again on Vita.

Another katamari for Vita too.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Some Trillion info.

Still hype!

Trials of Cold Steel is sooooooooooooo good! I feel bad for EU peasants having to wait an extra month. I've played Cold Steel and Trials in the Sky to about the same point (~25 hours in) and so far I'm enjoying Cold Steel much more.

The way EXP. was handle bothered the living hell out of me in TitS, literally getting TWO exp. for a random encounter when it takes nearly 250 for the next level made random battle feel pointless. Now not only do random battles give you more experience points so you feel like you're actually making progress but you can actually influence how much exp. you get. You can get multipliers depending on how you did in the battle such as getting double/triple kills, not getting hit, doing link attacks, etc.

The music is also fucking fantastic! Not only is the normal battle theme great but the Practical Exam and Powerful Enemy/Boss themes make me rock hard everytime they play.

The school setting doesn't bother me one bit like some people especially considering that so far only about 1/3 of the game is at the academy. The other 2/3's is out on the field doing normal RPG stuff. Plus I heard that around halfway through the game really opens up so that's exciting.

Lastly the characters are getting more and more intriguing the further into the game I'm getting. Also I'm starting to get the feeling that a harem is in my future so don't worry waifu warriors! Don't worry though, it's not even close to SAO levels of harem. *not a story spoiler btw

I remember back in 2013 looking at screenshots of Sen no Kiseki and thinking "I'd love this game in the west... shame it's never going to happen" and now I'm 24 days off being able to play it in English, physical release to boot.

You know, now I think about it, Vita really has surpassed my expectations in many ways.  Back when it started bombing in 2013 I never thought we'd get the string of localizations we've had from early 2014 onwards.  When Digimon was revealed I never fucking thought we'd get that in English!  Same with Tales of Hearts; same with Hollow Fragment; same with DanganRonpa etc.

I remember making this post back on new years last year begging for Sen no Kiseki and Digimon to get localized. Now one just release and the other is less than 2 months away!

Pre-2012 me would consider the Vita a failure at this point since all I wanted from it was a new GTA and Gran Turismo but we got neither. The day in May 2012 when I bought this creepy looking Japanese game of PSN called "Persona 3: FES" is the day I learned to not judge a book by it's cover as far as games go. Before that I would have never bought games like YS, Ar nosurge, Danganronpa, or even P4G. Now I can't get enough of games like them.

It makes me happy to see all of the interaction with fans by these smaller devs.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

My copy had an issue getting here so it is going to the 17th, or nearly a month, for me to finally get it from time it shipped. Still excited though.
