Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Mass Effect 3: Better With Kinect?

I think it will be used kind of like I expect it to be used with ghost recon with hand and voice comands for your team mates. Who knows what other stuff it might be used for on top of this but I am very excited to see how this plays out.

It does seem MS are really pushing Kinect with all types of games and this is a good thing. Blending controller use with Kinect like in Forza and now possibly Gost recon and Mass effect if done well could really push Kinect into more gamers hands.

I think by the end of this E3 we will have seen that Kinect can be used in "hardcore" games and that it can and this is the important part actually make them more imersive lol but we will have to wait and see if my prediction is correct or not.

What's the point? How would you even control a game like Mass Effect with Kinect?

Galaxy map would work really well with it.

yep Kinect as a bonus would work in pretty much every game.

Yeah, it's amazing how small people can think sometimes.  I see people say things like how can you map 17 buttons and two anolog sticks to Kinect.  Why does Mass Effect have to do that?  The way I see it, Kinect just gives you more buttons and according to that argument it's obviously a better thing.

I'm really anxious to see all the better with Kinect games.

Thats the ticket!

Mass Effect 3 taking interactive WRPG gaming to the next level. XBox 360 version of Mass Effect 3 may enable Kinect as a control option. Enable Kinect with most new 360 games  and continue the 360 console life for a long time. No need for a controller when you have Kinect and your body is the controller.

Only think I can think of is biotics. Other than that I think a controller work just fine

If implemented properly, it could make conversations very interesting. Like Molyneaux suggested touch could be a very emotional thing when he was talking Fable games and Milo. Could clearly come into play in a complex relationship-oriented game. I realize "touching" in Mass Effect opens some potentially problematic doors, as people have joked, but it could work well.

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?
