The 360 has been outselling ps3 in America for the past 4 months... it wont stop!  if Sony cuts the price to 199$ Microsoft will do the same thing. 360 will start outselling the ps3 in Europe when Gears 3 comes out!

Another person thinking America = the world.

The PS3 has Japan and EMEAA in the bag for the rest of the gen thats it we all know it and Gears 3 will not change a thing. The X360 will continue to have America but the difference that the X360 outsells the PS3 in America can't make up for the difference the PS3 outsells the X360 in Japan and EMEAA, hell with just Japan PS3 evens the odds of America.

Sorry brother, but Americans buy way more than Europeans do. this fall the 360 will sell like crazy in america...

lulz. a ps3 pricecut should in theory be more effective as the ps3 costs more.  gears ... lol.  sony's first party advantage over MS is going to carry them over the 360 at some point.  not that it really matters at this point.

I'm sorry, but America alone won't help the 360 overcome the PS3. Yes, America is by far the largest region, but EMEAA and Japan combined are as big(in terms of game industry), if not bigger, and the PS3 has been outselling the 360 by miles in these regions.

Plus Gears isn't big enough to make 360 outsell PS3. Heck, I live in the UK (I'm a 360 owner) and Kinect has been selling very poorly over here.

The only thing I can see Sony lagging behind the 360 is profit. I think MS are actually making profit on the 360 right now, whereas Sony is still trying to make up for all the losses that it made during launch.

When Gears is an excellent Franchise....I doubt it will push that sales much....how many did not buy a X360 for Gears 1-2 but will for Gears of war 3?  It is possible X360 will sell more  than PS3 but not with this game;.

You do realize that the 4gb 360 will be 99$ ! it will sell like crazy

I know it's the Arcade version but I'm sure it satisfies the more casual crowd that usually thrive for low prices and that's the one a 199$ PS3 would sell to.

I suppose that PS3 outselling the 360 over and over week after week = 360 winning. Americas = WORLD!!!!!

For a console that is 100 dollars higher and launching a year later. The PS3 is kicking ass.

Gears 3 will do nothing to outperform the Uncharted 3 effect in EMEAA.

Sure America is 360, but the rest of the world will be PS3 for the rest of the gen.

So, the Ps3 will outsell the 360. almost confirmed.
