Not sure what they call it in GE.  But the "bounding box" is the common reference to the invisible box that your cursor floats around in before altering the camera perspective.   Most FPS's allow you to adjust the height and width of this box from a tiny box, or even single pixel, to the full size of the screen.  A few games just have preset box sizes you can select.   Those termed expert, or something similar, have the smallest "bounding box".

Just be careful, with a small box, you get a very sensitive camera.   But once mastered, analog sticks just don't do feel as good anymore.

^^^i dont know about that, i liked the two man kart element if DD and playing those levels in DS just reminded me i wasnt playing Double Dash, then id get upset, still a good game though.

That doesn't make a port. A port would mean almost all tracks are from one game, and the play style is identical to that game.

You can beat it? I thought it was like COD Zombies where you just keep going until you die.

no..i believe it goes up to five rounds..with i think five waves in each round. it take about ten minutes to beat a round. usually the last wave is a short of boss boss...and damn round two or three was nuts.

and i seen online that you can play this mode online..but in private match only. i dont know if thats true or not..ill have to check later...im currently at work. theres a few achievements for beating rounds and invasion as well.

Beat the single player. A better ending than the original, both in terms of a fulfilling endgame and in terms of a better ending. Cliffhanger like the original, but it gives you a somewhat better sense of what's going on than the end of the original.

Central America felt sort of rushed, after the more immaculate campaign in Siberia. The hardest part of the final boss was the first phase, just for having to deal with multiple targets, but i think i went in with the best two weapons possible (Hive Cannon and the Phantom)

I have, and except for a couple new levels, and a slight boost in graphics, the game is no different then the N64 version. In this generation, we need more then that to justify a $60 purchase on a 15 year old game. Quantum of Solice for PS3/360 was much better IMO.

@Raptor GTA - How is the design of the game different? The levels and weapons are identical, I see minimal graphical improvement in the game. Except for the use of Wii-Mote controls, this is a redesigned port.

It's not an identical port, it's still a remake, just like Super Mario 64 DS, but I would hardly classify this game as a new FPS experience on the Wii. Only mentioned it as a port because it's not new, and further agrees with my notion of Wii-based FPS not working because developers are too lazy. I mean how hard would it be to see one developer, other then Nintendo, make a new FPS exclusive experience, as good as Vanquish, or Dead Space? How many more FPS do 360/PS3 owners get? I saw more this year so far then Wii lifetime.

Not trolling, defending a point, and your right it has derailed, so I'll stop.

You're either lying, or didn't even pay attention to the game. And you even got the price wrong, unless that's a typo.

This is the same BS line said about Mario Kart DS being a port (no one said of which MK game though) and NSMBWii being a multiplayer port of NSMB.

Sorry, $50, just naturally wrote the price of an HD game.

GoldenEye being a port is completely different from NSMB Wii and Mario Kart. New Super Mario Bros Wii is a completly redesigned game using 3D character modeling. The level's are new, upgrades are new, graphics are completly different. This type of comment is an extreme case your using to make my statement look unjustified.

Also how can Mario Kart DS be a port? It plays completly differently from Mario Kart 64, it's not sprite based, it's 3D modeling, and all the tracks are completly different.

GoldenEye for Wii is an HD remake of GoldenEye for N64. There are two added levels to campaign, and audio has been redone, but it is still the same game as Golden Eye for N64. NSMB Wii and Mario Kart DS are new games, with new engines, new levels, and new gameplay mechanics. All GoldenEye for Wii is is an HD 64 remake, which is playable using the Wii-mote.

This is off topic, my point was that the Wii doesn't have any new and original good quality shooters. Metroid Prime 3 is really the only one, Red Steel 2, and Conduit 2 are good at best, but nothing spectacular. GoldenEye is a remake.

@mike 5 you know there is a difference between a port and a remake???

People are so picky about terminology. I know GoldeneEye is a remake, but barely. They ported the game, redid the audio, upgraded the graphics, added 2 levels, and made the game use the Wii controller.

If they game didn't have those two new levels, I would consider this an HD port, no different from Beyond Good and Evil HD, which is 1/3rd the price, and a newer port.

Still this is tiptoeing around my point that Wii has no great exclusive shooters. Quantum of Solace is much better then Goldeneye Wii, I can just beat GoldenEye on my N64, why bother with the Wii version?

"GoldenEye for Wii is an HD remake of GoldenEye for N64."

That makes it not a port. You obviously don't know what the definition of a game port is. It means changes have to be minimal, save for extra content, and that what content is there has to be as close as possible.

The level designs are not the same. The goals in levels are not the same. The plot is not the same, and the original game didn't have cut scenes.

Too much is different to be a port, or even really like the same game.
