1. N64

2. PS3

3. SNES

But really...if you pick wii then you are really including NES, SNES, N64 (virtual console games) and Gamecube games because of b/c, hehe.

"True gamer" sounds pompous and elitist.

But if I was asked by someone who has had no/very little experience with video games what three consoles have the best variety of different genres, (so he could get a better idea on what he likes and dislikes) I'd probably say the SNES, the PS2, and the DS. (No specific order)

im never gonna be a true gamer then =( i cant stand going backwards and wasting time on old systems and games when theres MUCH better newer ones in the same genre.
