Not this debate again, didn't we have it last year? What happened? Exactly. If it continues like this, the PS3 still should only gain a little on the 360 by years end due to the much stronger holiday for 360. However M$ is in much better position to price drop and they should release new kinect titles soon, to get more people to start buying it again.

Just saying, i think that by years end Wii will be last in new consoles sold (yeah im serious) and PS3 and 360 will be neck in neck, hard to tell which one will be first though.

Yep last year at this time it was the Wii's doomed time, the year before was the PS3's doomed time and the year before was the 360's.

PS3 and Wii are bound to get their own 'doomed' threads by year's end and probably more than once too.

Microsoft is most likely, because they feel greatest need to be more competitive, even if doing well.  It would likely be to have the same price, but include Kinect.  Like have Kinect with $360 for $200 (minus harddrive) or bundle Kinect with the 360 and hard drive for $300.

I think it's too early to say "MS is teh doomed," but definitely needs a boost from something. I would wait until the hardcore Kinect games hit, starting this summer (Child of Eden, Haunt, whatever else, etc), and also hopefully a couple big things are announced at E3 as well.

Yeah thats true...but i could just imagine if the PS3 price dropped to $200 right now i think worldwide sales would double lol
