So I just beat the new DLC for AC brotherhood, it was good, not great, but fun, you know what you're getting. Slight spoilers ahead though if you want to beat it yourself.
Alright, so at the end of the game you end up in the temple of Pythagorus trying to find some mystical number. Upon finding it, Leonardo declares the numbers meaningless, and Ezio tells him that "they aren't meant for us", the trophy you get for completing this is called "GPS". The numbers are GPS co-ordinates meant for desmond. Where do they lead to? Turin New York. As in the Shroud of turin, which apparently there is some AC facebook game about the shroud of turin, I don't know.
But you really want to have your mind blown? Close by to Turin New York, there is a Rome New york, and also a Florence New York. The sites of the AC2 games. Crazy huh? Even crazier, if you connect the three places on a map, it makes a right triangle, as in the kind of triangle pythagorus made his famous theorems in regards to. WHAT?!? That's just stoopid!
Wouldn't it be hilarious if the hypotenuse running from rome to turin squared was actually a number corresponding to the release date or something? I would laugh my ass off and tip my hat to them if they were that ingenious.
Either way, your fun fact for the day.
