This came from a Spainish event for the 3DS

Ono no ha querido ofrecer más informaciones de la que sabíamos desde hace días, y ha pedido que no se le hicieran muchas más preguntas sobre el asunto. Pero la sorpresa es que ha asegurado que el próximo mes, tendrán un notición para dar, por lo que todas las posibilidades están abiertas.

Translation:

Ono has refused to provide further information (about Street Fighter Vs Tekken on 3DS), and he has asked not to talk more on the matter. But the surprise is that he has secured a big announcement for the next month, so all possibilities are open.

Wouldn't seem like much of an announcement at this point, and either way i don't care a whit about SF x Tekken.

What i would very much like to see in the Capcom Fighting department is Marvel vs Capcom 3

Well all his talk about Nintendo VS Capcom I would much rather see that then Marvel VS Capcom. But to be honest Nintendo has SmashBros and I could see them adding a Capcom character but I can't see them giving Capcom the rights to make a fighter using Nintendo's characters.

In all honesty I don't particularily like fighters. So I would love to see him develop a new and innovative title for the 3DS maybe a new IP. New IP's would be great, or maybe a return of ViewtifulJoe Capcom still owns that property don't they?

The Nintendo DS was SORELY devoid of fighting games....and off the bat we get two badass games (SSFIV and DOA), with potential for a third. We fighting game fans have suffered for the last 7 years. It's our turn now.
