What exactly did this guy do to deserve being sued/getting this hate?

He dared to work on a way to re-enable Linux. Which clearly makes him worse than Hitler.

"Well certainly with the Xbox 360, we had some challenges at the launch. Once we identified that we took control of it. We wanted to do it right by our customers. Our customers are very important to us." -Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb (10/2013). Note: RRoD was fixed with the Jasper-revision 3 years after the launch of 360

"People don't pay attention to a lot of the details."-Yusuf Mehdi explaining why Xbone DRM scheme would succeed

"Fortunately we have a product for people who aren't able to get some form of connectivity; it's called Xbox 360,”-Don Mattrick

BTW, Sony was obvioulsy right to disable Linux, because that way they successfully kept PS3 from being hacked, and the Slims that never had Linux in the first place are also completely unhackable. Just thought I should mentions this, because you have to give credit where credit is due!

I doubt anyone will need to contribute, Microsoft will probabily bail out this guy like they allegedley bailed out GeoHotz.

That never happened.

(source: reality)

Keyword.  Lighten up a little.

Don't see why you say that. There's so many tool posts here from the mass of ignorance it's very likely most of you here believe that MS did donate to GeoHotz...

...Not seeing so many "It only does everything" adverts on here from the usual sony henchmen are we.

...Oh yeah, Lighten up!

Again, keyword here is "allegedly."

So no need to get so serious about it.

Preventing the perpetuation of nonsense is a good thing.

You do know that Hitler was this egotistic meglomaniac who tried to control a people through false propaganda and the attempt of the genocide of another group people, right?

Yes, exactly. That Hitler fellow has nothing on graf_chokolo.

The sarcasm is strong with this one. I like it!

The only thing 99% of those who have homebrew care about. The other 1% are a people from Sony downloading the same ps3 games again and again from torrent sites just to blame those who with jaibreak . It's a conspiracy!

I don't know which is worse, your lack of Simpsons knowledge or your broken sarcasm detector. Then again, judging from your avatar, The Simpsons are probably older than you, so I can't blame you.

Google "And You, Sir, Are Worse Than Hitler"

PS.
Godwin's Law does not apply because this was brought up in jest.
